The Showstealer at WrestleMania Weekend

Since WrestleMania III showed us the match between 'Macho Man' Randy Savage and Ricky 'The Dragon' Steamboat, every year we a looking for that WrestleMania-Showstealer. The best match of the night, or in recent times, the best match of the weekend. In the last few years the bar has risen. Almost every week there could be a potential mega-match. Todays talent across the globe is better than ever. The pressure to deliver get higher every day. The crowd wants more every time. A constant Battle Royal between the WWE, New Japan Pro Wrestling, Ring of Honor, PWG, Progress, WXW and other promotions. It is a great time to be a fan of pure wrestling. But despite that fact that a potential showstealer could lurk behind every corner, WrestleMania weekend is still the place were potential showstealer and the eyes of the world come together. For one week-end the entire world is watching. So who will be the next Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels? Bret Hart vs. Shawn Michaels? Guerrero vs. Angle? Nakamura vs. Zayn?

This year the emotional constellation between Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa might be the showstealer of the year. Both are one the best wrestlers in WWE currently and they know, they have to deliver. Another match that is going to drop jaws will the AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura. A dream match between the two best active wrestlers on the planet right now - for the WWE Championship. The third potential showstealer is the match between Aleister Black and Andrade Cien Almas for the NXT Championship. Black is a megastar in the the making, while Almas was part of the first 5-star rated WWE match since Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels at the last NXT Takeover.

The expectations are very high this year. Not only do we want to see titles change hands and the best of the business collide, we ask for more. We ask for more every day. We put a lot of pressure of the atheletes today and all of them are so extremely proud, none of them would stop. They'll always keep pushing for more. But when will this stop? Wrestling already close to perfection, how long will the bodies of our heros keep up with that incredible standard? I don't know. Yes i want to see fantastic spots and numerous stunts and finishers. But what is the price? The shorter career? It is tough.
As of right now WWE is still finding a way not to over-do it and i trust WWE in continuing to do so.
Showstealer-Matches should remain something special and i can not wait to see them at this year's WrestleMania.
