Discussing a WWE Women's Tag Team Division

On RAW next WWE Stephanie McMahon is going to make an 'historic' announcement.
Rumours say it is probably a Women's Tag Division or even multiple ones for each brand. Ahead of this announcement i'd like to discuss the Pros and Cons of this.

Let me know if you agree: @Walu2go

Pro Contra
More Airtime for Women Less Airtime for Women
- A Women's Tag Division would mean more airtime for Women that would otherwise not be on the the show - While Duos would dominate, where does the airtime go to build new contenders for the singles titles? Building the stars would all fall in the same time you are pushing them to the title, as seen currently with Ronda Rousey. So if you are not in a Tag Team and neither the Contender or Champion of the Singles Title, you are doomed.
Great Depth by the Numbers No Depth In Reality
- WWE has a great host of female talent if you combine SmackDown, RAW and NXT/NXT UK. The talent wants to have something to do, a Tag Division could be the answer. - Even if you imagine a Title (as suggested by Becky Lynch) that would be defend on all brands, you do not have the depth of Women's Tag Teams. All you got is the Riott Squad, Deville & Rose, The IIconic Duo and maybe the Bellas. You need time to build these times, if you rush a title announcement now, nobody would benefit
Merchandise Just another title
- A Womens Tag Belt might sell well on WWEShop.com - WWE currently has 14 different active championship and some of them a fighting for relevance, why others are not even featured on the shows. It is already hard to keep track and what does a title mean, if you just turn around fight for another one?

History Lessons

- WWE, then WWF, had Womens Tag Team Titles from 1983 to 1989. TNAW, now known as Impact Wrestling, also had Women Tag Team Titles from 2009 to 2013. Both could not surive over 10 years. The Womens Talent got better with the years, but is WWE willing to put that much effort in this so a new Womens Tag Title would not suffer the same fate?

WWE is in a creative crisis

- WWE once again is finding themselves in a creative crisis. Storylines are weak in all divisions, but especially in the Women's and Male's Tag Division. Combining two problems might make an even create bigger one.
