Anita Vaughan: The Feeling
Anita Vaughan is only 6 years into this business, but her impeccable connection with the fans was not an overnight success.
When she first showed up in wXw in 2023 and defeated former wXw Women's Champion Iva Kolasky in the special presentation match as part of that year's Femmes Fatales event, the Irish dynamite was already shouting 'Can You Feel It?' but the fans were pretty much only observing the action. The Feeling was not there yet.
Vaughan kept coming though and she kept winning. Another year went by and Anita Vaughan became a wXw regular and on top of that, she appeared on many other promotions all across the European continent. Not all fans did get the memo yet, but A.V. was beginning to buzz. The feeling was starting to creep in, slowly but surely.
Given the great matches Anita Vaughan was having, fans began to rumble. The A.V. situation became a ticking timebomb, about to explode. All it needed was a spark.
And that spark came on March 9th 2024. During the Tag Team Gauntlet, she was paired with OSKAR. The two bundles of energy exploded like two stars colliding in the universe. It was lightning in a bottle and the crowd completely caught onto it.
From that point on Anita Vaughan became the tag team partner for OSKAR, whenever his original tag team partner Yuto Nakashima became unavailable. At one point she even defended the Tag Team titles for them.
But the reactions were not limited to her tag team ventures. A year after her debut in wXw she was able to win the Femmes Fatalas tournament and successfully cash in her championship shot on Levaniel on Day 3 of the World Tag Team Festival 2024. This made her the first-ever female wXw Shotgun Champion.
She went on to have incredible matches against the likes of Bobby Gunns, Stephanie Maze, Rhio and beyond the wXw walls against Amale, Millie McKenzie and Safire Reed.
It is safe to say THE FEELING has fully arrived when it comes to Anita Vaughan in wrestling.
Although she lost her Shotgun Title during wXw 16 Carat Gold 2025, there is no stopping this hype train as she followed it up by wrestling the incredible Miyu Yamashita the very next day.
So what is next for Anita Vaughan? Her team with Safire Reed called "Hyper Active" seem incredibly promising and all signs point to even more A.V. for all wrestling fans.
The story of Anita Vaughan shows that consistency is key. On top of that, her incredible bond with the crowd is rooted in her deep-running passion for this. She is able to translate that to the audience with every move and every facial expression she makes. She is an incredible storyteller and nothing and no one can match her energy. She is basically Monster Energy on two legs.
So there is only one question left to answer: Can You Feel It?
