At TNA Rebellion in April 2026, Brian Myers captured the TNA World Tag Team Championship at an event which now feels like an eternity ago.

Just a few months later, things could not have changed much more at TNA.

For the experienced Brian Myers, it is not his first rodeo in turbulent times at a promotion, and it is also not his first time being a champion. His current TNA Tag Title reign is his 4th with his 3rd tag team partner, the young and promising talent Bear Bronson.

While WWE, AEW and TNA all hold major wrestling events this weekend, here is why all eyes should be on Brian Myers and TNA Slammiversary.

The System has been a consistent force in fan interest at TNA. The System represents stability, and inside The System, Brian Myers is the most stable character.

While TNA is expierencing a regime change, the company needs stability and shoulders they can trust.
At the same time, Brian Myers has been the guy that was trusted to be the man to guide Bear Bronson, making Bronson one of TNA's next big stars.

In a time where the rumour mill is spilling  that 'everyone' is leaving TNA, Myers is here to stay.

Myers is total nonstop action. Much like TNA, Brian Myers has been underestimated by fans for years. Meanwhile, he has built a reputation for being loyal, trustworthy and a genius in and outside the ropes.

Brian Myers built one of the most successful training schools in North America with "Create A Pro Wrestling", a promotion that launched the careers of the likes of AEW World Champion MJF and WWE Evolve Champion Aaron Rourke.

At the same time a build a podcast- and wrestling action-figure empire alongside Matt Cardona.

Myers is a student of the game, and while he is 41, the iron is hot right now, and Brian Myers is the man that can be trusted not only as the next TNA World Heavyweight Champion, but as a man who knows how to get people to tune in.

And most importantly: He wants this!
He made it abundantly clear that his ultimate goal now is to be the TNA World Champion.
Right now, everything starts to come together. Who else, but Brian Myers?

Whether his means a loss or victory at the 3-Way Ladder Match against The Hardys and The Righteous remains to be seen, it will be one hell of a contest of three great teams, all in very different positions of their respective careers. But then the dust settles, this will be where it hits for Brian Myers.
