The 'Great War' that is the feud between Bray Wyatt and 'Woken' Matt Hardy has been called many names by fans, but very few have been DELIGHTFUL or WONDERFUL.
People have described the story as BORING or POINTLESS. But there are still plenty of ways to make this storyline legendary. Some things are worthy of not giving up on and WWE is right to continue the Great War. Let's prepare for battle!
Can Woken/Broken Matt be explained?
While Bray Wyatt is a common theme in the WWE, the mainstream-audience is not familiar with this version of Matt Hardy and are unaware of his work in TNA. Unfortunatley WWE has watered down his gimmick to obscure verbiage and laughter, lot's of laughter. The Broken Brilliance is sold as a Wacko. There is no logical attempt to 'explain' Woken Matt to the WWE audience but a lot of things transalte due to great entertainment, time to tell a more compelling storyline between Bray and Matt to get the audience behind them.
How to tell a more compelling storyline?

The best way to do so is a DELETION vignette. Back in his Impact-Days, Matt Hardy and his WOKEN/BROKEN WARRIORS hold occasional events at the Hardy-Compound. Those videos defined the Hardy-Character. At the first it could be seen as trash, but the Broken Brilliance of Matt Hardy and the love for detail make for some epic entertainment. If rumours are true, this is the way WWE is going. Let just hope it is more of a Hardy-Production, then a House-of-Horros-video.
