5 Biggest Stories after the WWE Superstar Shake-Up

This week the WWE Superstar Shake Up took place on both RAW and SmackDown over the course of two nights. Last weeks 'After Mania' shows already changed WWE's Main Roster but this week the trades between RAW and SmackDown happened. It is safe to say that RAW gave a lot of big stars to the blue show, but in the end both rosters seem strong right now, but RAW and it's three hour show have a lot of work to rebuild their midcard now. A 10-Men Tag Team Main Event showed what RAW could be up to in the near future, but everything depends on the results of the upcoming Pay-Per-Views 'Greatest Royal Rumble' and 'Backlash', will Jinder Mahal regain the United States Title  and will either Samoa Joe or The Miz capture the Intercontinental Title yet another Midcard-Title trade?
There is a lot of scoop after this year's Shake-Up, so let's dive right into it.

Jeff Hardy is now on SmackDown and United States Champion

In the first moments of RAW Jeff Hardy captured the United States Championship from Jinder Mahal and the next night her appeared on SmackDown Live, bringing the title back with him. This championship victory made Jeff Hardy a Grand Slam Champion in WWE, winning the Tag Titles, the World Title and the Intercontinental Title before. This move also split Jeff from his brother Matt Hardy, who is now teaming with Bray Wyatt on RAW. Hardy is going to face Mahal in the Mordern Day Maharaja's Title Rematch at the Greatest Royal Rumble. If Mahal regains his title, is very likely that another Championship is going to change hands aswell. More on that in a minute.

The Miz is now on SmackDown, all alone

The Miz was very happy to announce he gained Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn for his Miztourage team, but only seconds after the celebration RAW General Manager Kurt Angle brought the bad news to The Miz: While Owens & Zayn are now staying on RAW and the original Miztourage in Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel are also remaining on RAW, The Miz has to go back to SmackDown Live all on his own. Miz, who became the king of WWE's midcard in the past two years, who just recently lost his beloved Intercontinental Title to Seth Rollins isn't just upset that his has to leave his two loyal henchmen in Dallas and Axel (who turned on him later that night), he knows that a certain someone is waiting for him on SmackDown Live. That man is former SmackDown General Manager Daniel Bryan, who is now able to wrestle again. If there is a long-standing and deep-running rivalry in the WWE it is the one of Daniel Bryan and The Miz. The Professional Wrestler vs. Sports Entertainment feud runs back all the way to 2010 when The Miz was made the NXT Pro of Daniel Bryan. This match has a WrestleMania feeling, but it looks we won't have to wait until then. This feud should headline PPVs, but if Miz is able to capture the Intercontinental Title back, after Mahal won the US TItle back and therefore both Midcard Titles switch brands, at the Greatest Royal Rumble, it might be atleast for some gold.

Sanity is coming to SmackDown, but not in full force

Finally, after months of rumblings, Sanity has been announced for WWE's Main Roster. The incredible group from NXT is going to make their debut on the blue brand very soon. German Alexander Wolfe, the Beast from Belfast Killian Dain and Sanity Leader Eric Young are going to make a huge impact. But: Without their founding member Nikki Cross. For some unknown reason Cross won't be called up to SmackDown. As great as it is to see Sanity getting called up, it just doesn't feel right without Nikki Cross. We will have to see why Cross is remaing in NXT.

Hawkins & Ryder Reunion might be happening

As discussed earlier this year on the blog (Click!) Hawkins and Ryder can't cut it right now in singles competition, but the guys are still friends after winning the Tag Team Titles way back in 2008. The Edgeheads are doomed to reunite after WWE and the both of them have been teasing a reunion on social media for weeks. Now Zack Ryder returned to MondayNight RAW, so Hawkins and Ryder are on the same brand again and both are not involved in a storyline right now. RAW's Tag Division needs more bodies and the two wrestling figure fanatics would help the RAW Tag Division grow to a healthy size again. WWE just need to it now.

3MB Returns!?
3MB just might one of the greatest faction the world of professional wrestling has ever seen. And now, for the first time since Juni 2014, when Mahal and McIntyre both were let go from the WWE. A dark day for the business indeed. While Heath Slater continued holding up the flag of 3MB, still using their theme song, he began teaming with ECW Legend Rhyno, which let him to the SmackDown Tag Team Championship, where records books will show his and Rhyno's name as the first ever champions. While Mahal disappeared from the scene, McIntyre went out on conquered the indy-scene of Europe and later America. He made a complete body-change and perfected his already great skills. This caught the eye of the WWE again McIntyre returned to the WWE, this time under the NXT brand, winning the NXT Heavyweight TItle. Jinder Mahal aswell returned to the WWE in 2016 to everyone's surprise. In April 2017 he was drafted to SmackDown Live, where Mahal also made a complete body-change and started perfecting his skills, which lead him to the WWE Championship, a feed nobody ever thought he would reach. Just recently Mahal also held the United States Championship, a title he won at WrestleMania. Now the band is back together on RAW. But Mahal is still furious that Jeff Hardy was able to steal the US Title from him and McIntyre again turned heel and teamed with Dolph Ziggler out of all people. My suggestion: Stop the nonsense and reunite 3MB! WWE never had a story like this. A former jobber tag team that went out won the biggest titles imaginable on their own. Now it is time to join forces and dominate RAW, just as Jinder Mahal promised on an episode of Right Along recently.
