The Downfall of the Lass-Kicker: Becky Lynch
She was SmackDown's first ever Women's Champion. She is a member of the four Horsewomen alongside Bayley, Sasha Banks and Charlotte Flair, the group that put Women's Wrestling back on the map in WWE. On every NXT Takeover you could be sure Becky and her friends would tear the house down. But since her arrival to the Main Roster, much has changed. Becky Lynch is one if the best wrestlers on the entire roster and she is also a very good actor and a very fine promo-artist. It is a miracle that she hasn't had a propper storyline for over a year now and hasn't really captivated the crowd ever since dropping her blue Women's Title.
Why is that 'Becky Balboa' is connecting with the crowd as much as she used to?
Some say it is her booking and she is booked this way on purpose. There even have been reports of WWE's Head Producer Kevin Dunn doesn't like her accent and that is why she is getting less promo-time.

But i believe there is more than the story than just that. Becky Lynch shines the brightest when she is getting a storyline to work with. Becky Lynch is one of the few people that can turn trash into gold.
When fans began asking why Becky did not help her friend Charlotte Flair when she was attacked on an April episode of SmackDown Live, she responded that she wasn't paying attention as she was enjoying her quinoa-meal. When the following week arrived, Becky was prepared:

This just shows that Becky has various different facettes to her character, something that WWE does not feel the need to exploid.
So the first step should be a storyline, and if it just takes 5 Minutes per week, i am sure Becky will make it work. Another topic is her appearance: I do not think her move-set, her entrance theme/design and he ring-gear are cutting it anymore. Becky Lynch needs a new style in those areas.
In my opinion Becky Lynch's theme is way to repetitive and got stale over time
In her move-set Becky Lynch has only two signature moves: The Becksploder and the Dis-Arm-Her. Trained by the likes of Finn Balor, Becky Lynch has more to offer and she should show more. I my opinion Becky needs a new impactful finisher next to the Dis-Arm-Her to gain more attention during her matches. On a personal note, i believe Becky Lynch has (by far) the worst in-ring-gear of the roster. Actually i don't think never have i really cared about ring-gear so much. It just doesn't fit for me. I know: Whatever you are comfortable with..., but i really liked her style on NXT and i wish she would go back to that and a change of ring-gear would be another step to the 'rebirth' of the Lass-Kicker.
With Becky's incredible talents already in place, WWE should invest in her again, because she eanred to be on the top of the Women's Division and she is far from done, all the needs is a little change with a fresh start and something to do.
