5 Best WrestleManias Ever

5. WrestleMania XXVI

For me personally it is the best WrestleMania ever, because it was the first i watch from start to finish. Back when 4 hours were enough to deliver. The amazing Edge vs. Chris Jericho Match, the awesomely booked build to Batista vs. John Cena, CM Punk taking on Rey Mysterio in an absolute classic, the Legacy imploding and Sheamus breaking onto the scene, this he was defeated. And that was not all, Bret Hart returned to the promotion, the storyline even crossed over to the WWE Title picture and then there was the epic Shawn Michaels retirement match with HBK taking on The Undertaker for a second time, another bone-chilling build. What a Mania, but even this show was so great, there were even better Manias.

4. WrestleMania 30

This show opened up with a historic bang! Hulk Hogan, Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock opened up the show, before kicking into the Main Story of the show, Daniel Bryan becoming an absolute hero. He defeated Triple H to go on to the Main Event later. Then Cesaro won the first ever AtG Battle Royal, which was awesome back then, because it was the first one and we believed winning it means something. Cena and Wyatt had a great match with the loudest mid-amtch crowd responses i can ever recall. AJ Lee dominated the WWE Divas and then later Bryan won the Main Event, defeating Batista and Randy Orton with a huge ovation. But the highlight, despite shaking every wrestling fan in their core to this day, was Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker. Brock Lesnar ended The Undertaker's streak in probably the biggest moment in wrestling history.

3. WrestleMania XIX

The 2003 edition of WrestleMania was during the ruthless agression era. It is probably the show with the biggest star line-up ever. Almost every match sounds like a hit. Hulk Hogan taking on Vince McMahon, Triple H (unfortunatly) defeating Booker T, the awesome Chris Jericho vs. Shawn Michaels match, Brock Lesnar vs. Kurt Angle in an epic, just wonderful wrestling match and, of course, The Rock vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin, one more time. Beautiful booked and good wrestlers allround. A must-see show for every wrestling fan.

2. WrestleMania XXIV

Ric Flair's last ever WrestleMania Match, against Shawn Michaels. The 'I'm sorry, I love you'-moment defines this WrestleMania. But there was more that is causing this WrestleMania to reach the No 2 spot. Finlay and JBL having, in my eyes, one of the most brutal post-Attitude Era matches. CM Punk won his first MitB-briefcase in the best version of the MitB-Ladder-Match ever. Randy Orton slayed John Cena and Triple H, Big Show and Floys 'Money' Mayweather causing big mainstream attention with their match and Kane ending Chavo Guerrado in just under 11 seconds for the ECW Title. And then there was the World Heavyweight Title Main Event with The Undertaker and Edge. No wonder people talk about this show until this day. Historic and just great wrestling all night long. This show had a little bit of everything for everyone.

1. WrestleMania X-Seven

Being called the best WrestleMania of all time on so many occasion by so many different people, it was probably clear than this show would finish up on top. Every star the fans were behind, got his moment. Well, apart from the Main Event, but we will get to that in a bit.
Chris Jericho and William Regal had an amazing Intercontinental Title match, before Right to Censaro tried to annoy everyone, but the APA and Tazz shocked the world by defeating the hated faction. Kane then defeated Raven and Big Show in an amazingly creative Hardcore Title match, that also took place backstage and throughout the entire arena. After Eddie Guerrero haven a fine match, Kurt Angle had yet another awesome match at WrestleMania. Chyna then defeated Ivory in a, for the time, pretty good match. After that Shane and Vince McMahon battle it out in a brutal brawl, before the match of the night happened: The TLC Match between Edge & Christian, the Hardy Boyz and The Dudley Boyz for the WWF Tag Team Titles was just crazy insane. History was made there. After Iron Sheik winning the infamous Gimmick Battle Royal, The Undertaker defeated Triple H and then the show was topped by Stone Cold vs. The Rock, ending with the shocking Heel Turn of Steve Austin, who sided with Vince McMahon. This show was full of surprises, brutality and big moments. This is the bar, a bar that was never reached again.
