How did Bobby Roode become Inglorious?

Bobby Roode still is one of the finest active wrestlers currently under contract. He can talk, walk the walk and has an amazing amount of charisma. He's got the IT-Factor, some would say. So when the already decorated star signed with WWE in 2016, everybody knew they'd be in for some extraordinary things. But something happened since then.

When Bobby Roode began his first big feud in WWE NXT Tye Dillinger, everything seemed to be....

Yes, 'GLORIOUS' was the new catchphrase of Roode and it worked tromendus. While being a heel that wanted to change NXT by making everybody in the crowd a suit-working business man like himself, the crowd couldn't help themselves. Everybody needed to sing along his glorious theme song. This made Roode even more popular than he already has been and he became the NXT Champion. His run as Champion including epic feud with Drew McIntyre and Shinsuke Nakamura until he eventually dropped the title to McIntyre, because Roode got an offer he couldn't refuse: A deal with SmackDown LIVE.

But when Roode arrived on the blue show, it was decided Roode would become a babyface with no further explanation. Previously his 'Glorious' chant ment (atleast for him) he is above all else and therefore simply...Gorious. Now he chants the word just for fun, again with no further explanation. On SmackDown LIVE Roode became 'the guy who says glorious a lo rather than the suit-wearing man with an agenda he want to push down everybody's throught and therefore Booby Roode became one-dimensional. But still WWE is recognizing his talent and the was giving the opportunity to shine bright as the United States Champion.

Roode got one of the loudest reactions ever in NXT history

Unfortunatley Roode wasn't able to maintain his hype on his new path. I am a fan of Roode, because he will delivers on a weekly-basis and so entertainting to watch, but the crowd started reaction only towards the Glorious Chant. Not even to the theme song anymore. Right now Bobby Roode will try to challenge Randy Orton at WrestleMania, because Orton was the one who recently pinned Roode to become the New United States Champion. There also is a possibility that Jinder Mahal will be added to the match. Maybe, after WrestleMania is done, Bobby Roode can become a more serious competitor again just like he was in NXT and outside of the WWE. This might help him to get his fantastic reaction back and this might even push him to the World Title Picture in the Future. The spotlight should be on him.
