Dream Opponents for The Fiend

Source: wwe.com

At SummerSlam Bray Wyatt shocked the Wrestling World with his return as The Fiend. A dark monster, willing to rip everyone and everything apart, that stand in its way.

Watch the Fiend's entrance here:

With Code Orange performing a variation of Wyatt's former theme song 'Live in Fear', his decapitated on a lantern and a thrilling mask, this version of Wyatt is the most chilling one yet. With the creative 'FireFly Funhouse' vignettes leading up to this, Bray Wyatt has created one of the deepest characters in WWE since Kane and The Undertaker. At SummerSlam the canadian crowd truly appreciated what they saw. But for true awesomeness in wrestling it always needs two to tango.

So which opponents should The Fiend should try out next, after destroying Finn Balor?

Dexter Lumis

The eerie Dexter Lumis is a very new face in NXT. He just competed in the Breakout Star tournament and has been one of the most talked about performers after it. Lumis made his name by becoming 'Samuel Shaw' on TNA/Impact, becoming a stalking psychopath. On NXT he still seems to be a creep. It would be sight to see two creepy appearances like The Fiend and Lumis collide.

Aleister Black

The fans would certainly love this collision. The dark mind of Aleister Black seems to be the most prepared for The Fiend. Surrounding himself with occult runes, candles and a haunting aura the day  of The Fiend and Aleister Black meeting would result in incredible television.
Currently Black is awaiting a new victim on SmackDown, maybe The Fiend could be the one who answers the call.

Daniel Bryan & Rowan

Right now Bryan and Rowan are part of the Roman Reigns attacker storyline. They promised to present Roman his attacker next week. Imagine it being The Fiend to everyone's surprise? However the Fiend does not seems to pick a side and thus would start feuding with both parties.
There is A LOT of history between Bryan, The Fiend and Rowan. Both Bryan and Rowan, but especially Rowan, followed Wyatt for a time. It is not guaranteed that Rowan would stay loyal to Bryan, if Wyatt is able to draw him to his side once more.

Luke Harper

Also a loyal disciple of Wyatt in the past, Luke Harper has fallen from grace recently. He asked for his released and WWE has not granted himt that. Instead the have frozen his contract and now he is sitting at home.
Instead of waisting time and money, Harper could come back, knowing The Fiend probably better than anyone, and try to stop this monster before it causes any further damage. Personally this would be my favourite next feud for The Fiend.

Abyss

In January 2019 Abyss left his long-time home of IMPACT WRESTLING and joined WWE to become a producer. Abyss never wrestled in this character on WWE TV. But for one dance with The Fiend, this would be a memorable sight to see. It would scare everyone to death.

Randy Orton

Randy Orton also has once been a follower Bray Wyatt. He was the one that dug up Sister Abigail and burned down the Wyatt Family compound, after turning against his leader. This feud resulted in Wyatt's first and only WWE Title victory to far. The feud culiminated rather awfully, though in a bad match at WrestleMania, also with Orton taking the title from Wyatt after just one month. Maybe it is time to write the wrong from the past and put the sick viper of WWE against The Fiend.

Kane

Kane was Bray Wyatt's very first feud when he arrived at the main roster of WWE. Maybe it is time that Wyatt is also his very last. Kane is currently not a regular on WWE anymore, full-filling his mayor duties in Knox-County. However, he might have one more match left in him, handing over the torch from one monster to another.

The Undertaker

The Undertaker has had probably the greatest career in the history of professional wrestling. But, with all due respect, it is time for The Undertaker to finally retire. And there could be no better opponent to do it, than The Fiend.

 The Demon - Finn Balor

While Finn Balor has no chance against The Fiend, The Demon might. The dark monster that is living inside Finn Balor's soul might be the perfect answer the monsterous Fiend. I am very certain that this match is going to happen one day.

The Willow - Jeff Hardy

Willow never was part of WWE before, only taking down victims in TNA/Impact. Jeff Hardy's twisted character would be a perfect opponent for The Fiend, both enjoy the darkness and the shadows, but it seems there is some good left in Willow. The Fiend is definitely Willow's Way and Jeff Hardy even teased the return of Willow quite recently on Instagram.

Braun Strowman

In the past Braun Strowman was also part of the Wyatt Family as 'The Back Sheep'. Since then he has been involved in some gigantic feud and has impressed with his humongous strength. However it would be interesting to see, if Wyatt/The Fiend still has some power over Strowman.

'Woken' Matt Hardy

Before Bray Wyatt left WWE TV for over a year, he was teaming with Woken Matt Hardy, after the two had an epic war. They even became Tag Team Champions. It would be amazing if we could see Matt Hardy as the next opponent for The Fiend as there is so much history to play off and both are incredible character players. I am sure this should be able to serve for some jaw-dropping stuff.
